The Representative for Children and Youth Act, like the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, champions the role parents and families play in children’s development. In fact, one of our office’s duties is to promote understanding between service providers and children, youth and their families.
The RCY Act also outlines a number of principles that guide our staff’s day-to-day work with families.
If you would like to know more about how the RCY Act supports both families and child rights, please contact us.
